Humorous Marriage Invitation Wordings

100 years without Mahler (off topic)

Sorry this post has little to do with astronomy. O yes. As I have said many times, for me the music (in capitals) and Astronomy (ditto) are perfectly complementary (beyond the symphonies of Herschel). There is a wonderful symbiosis between the heavens, the stars, la naturaleza y la música.

Así I wanted to do a small and brief reminder of this great musician such a good time has given me.

For those who do not know and want to start it, allow two recommendations. A book and a symphony.

First: the great (and intellectual) Norman Lebrecht essay: "Why did Mahler?" (Alliance Music). I quote a few selected phrases: "If there was a fire, save the children first and then my objects Mahler" and "Everyone needs a reference point. Mine is Mahler."

And, secondly, a symphony. The first, of course. Symphony No. 1 in D major , composed in 1888. Nicknamed the Titan. A trainee Mahler, but Mahler it already is. Traps, and is a good introduction for the following works of the Viennese, more complex and intellectual. Still echo in my head the first bars of the dawn ...

Apparently, Mahler's hot. Or at least, his movements slow and incomprehensible to those bold remixes discs to amputate works go together for the good of the masses. It is a crime, of course, but no way to listen to good music (is allowed to express a Rembrandt maimed?). Gustav Mahler is much more than slow movements. I invite you to know. Can be a journey without return.

Sample Letter Of Doctor Joing Practice

OSPA, Gran Reserva 91

Friday 29 April, 20:00 . Auditorio de Oviedo, Subscription Concert No. 11: OSPA , Ari Rasilainen (director). Works by Glinka , Tchaikovsky and Sibelius . Asturias has to feel
proud to have an orchestra that twenty years ago few were betting on it. And is that because the wine must be patient and work hard to get crops "Gran Reserva". There are good strains, the most suitable climate, and the winemakers who know this, they have got the best wine after Thursday menu. He was returning to the OSPA
eight years after the Finnish director Ari Rasilainen ( but was in Oviedo in January 2009 with the Orchestra of Castilla and Leon in a monograph of Finland ), then a November 21, 2003 with first part Grieg: Holberg Suite the and Piano Concerto with Carmen Yepes solo more The Third of Sibelius after the break. The memory that we both had that first visit still maintain, after what was heard in this last concert abrileño, I think Asturias and not forget.
This time the choice was "fully coaster, taking his compatriot Sibelius as such (and I have a CD with Kullervo directing him in 2005 to Staatsphilarmonie Rheinland-Pfalz -Orchestra Rhineland-Palatinate with the male choir KYL), as the common history is there, the conflict between Russia and Finland gave many laps in time. The program review was not for the new candidate to the ownership of all Asturian orchestra, but for their own education. Finally another evening was warmly Nordic . First test
nothing less than the opening of RUSSLAN and Ludmilla (Glinka ) heard not long ago, but light speed without going , listen to everything written in this Home work great, fortissimo and agile scales could try to detail despite the demands you have for everyone. The
Suite No. 4 in G M., Op 61 "Mozartiana" ( Tchaikovsky) is a jewel as to direct homage to the Russian makes his genius admired, well explained in the program notes by Professor Neil Barrena de la Rua , my "Ne-Re." The five movements which were at best, enjoying very much (and by recent connotations ) of III. Preghiera on the "Ave Verum Corpus K. 618 where after the brief intervention of wood, rope our love to all choir directors always sounded perfectly with the rest plaster, and the last movement Theme and variations, with special solos of Vasiliev in IX variation, always delicate and artistazo, clarinet playing Andreas brimming and safer, the "forgotten" glockenspiel of Casanova "Dalaipercu" I do want to mention here.
And if it was shot, the best was yet to come. Rasilainen found that "Sibelius's language is in the OSPA" , plus plenty of emotion (as Ramón Avello said the concert Avilés). The M. Second Symphony in D, Op 43 compositions will end the "romantic" but recognize that it is original and requires a sound that managed Finnish director of our orchestra. My friend David Revilla have enjoyed with this interpretation (which he recorded Classical Radio for later broadcast) from eleven black rope start to great final crescendo, because you can not hassling and the end result was perfect.
section to section giving all the musicians responded with a clear direction, accurate, nothing flashy but totally efficient, and that's it. I think when it works well and we like to rediscover the best of our training. The character of
fully pastoral Allegretto was achieved with a wind always backed by a strong rope. The Tempo andante, ma rubato was a new pleasure in the rope and a pair of bassoons overwhelming, led from the podium with knowledge be that amazed. Even in the Vivacissimo could enjoy the "simple" composition, the changing environment of the pastoral to the stormy, how fast to slow, with an intensity that our OSPA accomplished as any to finish in the four melodic themes and the great crescendo does not seem to finish and close the circle of a symphonic impressive. Congratulations to Finnish sommelier Rasilainen you've removed all the flavors in the mouth / ear to the Spaniard came first.
OSPA is only changing the lyrics of the tango "that 20 years is nothing" because without forgetting the previous bands that led to the present and all the teachers who went through the podium, this time and working together is much reason to head our OSPA, Gran Reserva from 91 . PD

The result was a plate that define the flavor lacked the absence of authority concluded there was no good end or clear tempi between soloist and director, or even romantic dynamics well marked, with a piano and an orchestra sounded off sounded the protagonist forgetting. How Long Does It Take To Get An Std Test Back

the soul ... by my dear Lolo Homecoming

Wednesday, 27 April, 20:15 . Casa Municipal de Cultura, Avilés . Concert Season 9 of 525 of the Second Period, 625 of the Philharmonic Society Avilesina . Classical Orchestra of Asturias , Carmen Yepes (piano), Daniel Velasco Sánchez (director). Works by John Falcone , Mozart and Beethoven .
I could not concentrate on the concert itself Avilés as I did in the previous day's . Were the same performers, the works themselves, but the greatness of the music and the harshness of life are that nothing is equal, especially for the listener.
settled in Avila to dismiss my friend Lolo Cornellana and my mind was still with him , pain gripped me and I'm still with the wounded soul. At 61 years left us all orphans, widows, aching in disbelief ... but will always live on our memory. Juan Manuel Menéndez González , music lover, a friend of his friends, tireless worker, an advocate for his beliefs, vital, happy ... Lolo!
will not return to hear the bagpipes Mass in San Marco every first Sunday of August (the photos are of the latter), now sing again with his beloved Manolín Quirós. .. All my love to his wife, Aurora Alba (Chorus component of the Prince of Asturias ), Nuria daughter, friend, colleague and companion (extended to her husband Isaac G. Azurmendi) and of course, his brother Jose Antonio, "Pepe ." Naturally, the deepest condolences for the family, we were there and we all giving the penultimate farewell, because we can not still believe them.
No more suffering if only you did not lose hold on a little more and know the first nietu. What would you Güelu greatest!. It is the certainty of making a full life who share so many happy moments. Rest in Peace Lolo.
This Thursday will receive a Christian burial in his hometown after the funeral Cornellana in Real Monasterio de San Salvador where so many masses sung, but this time will be limited to listen ... sure sing good with everyone, often for music.
will pray for you at the funeral of my Grandmother Lucia at the same time on the first anniversary of his departure. The voice is not me but the music will come out this Wednesday in Avilés I can assure you rang by and for you.
concert replay the work of John the "Laps for orchestra" more than ever were "round in my heart "made me work my memories. The public came to enjoy, but especially with the Concerto No. 25 for piano and orchestra K. 503 in OJ M. of Mozart with ; Carmen Yepes technical eventful and interpretations, and even better directed from the podium in Oviedo. I went to taste and enjoy exquisite phrasing, the rhythms and clean the old Steinway less opaque carbayón that despite the enormous wear but it was not so maladjusted as expected, although the work required a better instrument.
For the second part Symphony No. 4 in B M., Op 60 of Beethoven (Thursday will be the third consecutive time), a little better in all sections, more secure in the four movements (Adagio-Allegro Vivace, Adagio , Allegro molto e vivace - Trio. A little meno allegro and Allegro ma non troppo ), with the deficiencies are corrected with work. New huge effort by musicians, better tuning (which is still care) and continue to advance beyond the role as it does Daniel Sánchez from the podium, with a direction that I like more and more. This time
test passed. Here I post the photos .

Miami Valley Water Birth

Tuesday, 26 April, 19:45 . Philharmonic Theatre, Oviedo . 8 concert in 2011 and 1,857 of the Philharmonic Society Oviedo. Classical Orchestra of Asturias , Carmen Yepes (piano), Daniel Sánchez Velasco (director). Works by John Falcone , Mozart and Beethoven .
all expected a new concert OCA and more coming home from our pianist solo (extended family, friends, colleagues ...) Carmen Yepes, currently combining performance and teaching from Madrid . The program chosen by the Master Sánchez Velasco follows the line developed from the foundation of his "orchestra" in 2009 , with clearly marked objectives among which two follow the concert on Tuesday: "Collaborating with other entities to bring music the public "and " collaborating with several composers to disseminate their works ". The first, also from the Classical works which remain the basis for the listener who expect their total music lover, and there were Wolfgang and Ludwig , while the second goal served as a beginning for a concert "palindrome" and try to explain below.
John Falcone is a New Yorker and half Spaniard , bassoon the OSPA since 1991 but we can not forget the many facets of saxophonist, jazzman, composer, bandleader music, work and especially teaching a profession that is passion for "Music."
"Laps for orchestra" is a short composition for a classical orchestra with today willing to Vienna, explains that as well Daniel in today's press , "It builds on a theme, a clarinet solo, well known and gives all the turns that a student, a musician, I would give to dominate. I dealt from left to right, all shades and instruments" . further explains that "The issue out of the last time the Beethoven Fourth Symphony that will touch the end, so the program is palindrome. The premiere, in concert palindrome, like much in the Philharmonic . Everything a music game where from a timeless perspective with nods to jazz (he could not miss) plays with melodies and timbres that really spin the Allegro ma non troppo Beethoven with fine lines and the odd brush stroke, the sense of humor Great John always present and full of craft behind them carried the score. We really enjoyed and had to go and say hello, because as we all know, music plays written if not, it is dead, and these "turns" are really alive.
The Concerto No. 25 for piano and orchestra K. 503 in M. DO of Mozart is one of the jewels of the genius of Salzburg that despite the apparent ease and grateful tone melodies, are challenging to interpret to be as thorough as it commented that our mutual friend Jaime Francisco Pantin, Wolfgi make the composer more difficult and this concert the brightest of the compounds for piano. Carmen Yepes is in full maturity and demonstrated with this beauty of work, very well coordinated from the podium and pasting the orchestra perfectly with the piano at times, but was somewhat uneven. The tempi agreed were appropriate to savor the exquisite phrasing of the pianist Mieres (which were "born" in Oviedo) and from the initial Allegro Maestoso, plus a crystal clear cadence, like all other that shone more before a Steinway something dull and worn that it was not so tight that the work required and the interpreter demanded. The Andante was lyrical as could be, again well supported by the orchestra, especially the timber share the same importance, reposado, savoring every detail both alone and arranging to meet the Allegretto Finale with a staggering security and well made these devilish change of pace for all performers, giving a personal version and very fresh sediment from both the piano as the lead. After the applause
and the box of chocolates Peñalba delighted us with the Sarabande of Partita No. 4 in D M., BWV 828 of Bach obviously not San Sokolov version but with all the pianism Kantor expected in key works, and Carmen Yepes learned to float with true mastery. Witness
exception was the Finnish Ari Rasilainen (invited by Daniel) who directs her in November 2003 with The # 1 of Grieg and OSPA , with which returns this week but directing Sibelius, among others. In conversation with him earlier during the break, remembered with affection and good feeling that concert, and I hope to send you a copy of it on Friday in the Auditorium. Actually attended another excellent performance by Carmen although with different companions and a somewhat diminished piano.
The second part would be occupied by the not always very dynamic heard Symphony No. 4 in B M., Op 60 of Beethoven (although we will again on Thursday with the OvFi), uneven in their difficult four movements (Adagio-Allegro Vivace, Adagio , Allegro molto e vivace - Trio . A little meno allegro and Allegro ma non troppo ), where there were shortages of various types that will be remedied in the work is not always as consistent as usual and everyone would like. I know that the effort is great, the idea of \u200b\u200bplaying the complete cycle is really commendable, but requires more security, better intonation, listen more and advance all going beyond the role as attempts to master avilesino from the podium, with a gesture towards clear and precise, plus a large previous work (they are added annotations Aldo Ceccato D. ). Version was only heard in neat, but were less than (well third and fourth unclear the "undefined" string) to a template set to the complex by the Bonn , and placed, as I indicated, the Viennese: violins on either side, Bass left behind the drums and wind back, metal and wood right in the middle. Violins and violas are reinforced by fellow Daniel in OSPA, with Hector Corpus concertmaster, as well as one of the two tubes , which is always thank you for the rest , but they know they have a long road ahead but there is "to weave wicker basket, good manners and above all eager to work.
Presumably authentically "Made In Asturias", but "as bad students" repeat this Wednesday Avilés, certainly much better. We will tell from here waiting to pass the new test note. PD

3rd Birthday Party Invitations Twins

Sundial on supernovae measurements

few months ago opened a new park in Badajoz. Located in the neighborhood of Valdepasillas, very close to Puente Real, known as Bioclimatic park to be located in front of the Institute of the same name. It was a long green space claimed by the locals since late last year, can finally enjoy a beautiful space in which to stroll, read a newspaper in the shade of trees or taking children to play.

(Credit: Extremadura.com)

Although

takes me too far, until yesterday I could not visit this park of over 10,000 square meters, I have to say I was surprised by its design and the number of people in him. Without doubt, the grateful sun that dawned on Palm Sunday, after several days of heavy rains (which I have in drydock in full holiday period, but that's another story), I had to do a lot with the environment that I could find. Very striking is the fountain that throws a powerful jet of water at high altitude, and the artificial waterfall that gives more background noise that refreshing.

addition to fountains, fences, playgrounds and other things typical of these spaces, the new park has a sundial which is why this entry, thus give some life to have enough left for a few weeks.

The idea and design was by the hand of Professor of Physics and Chemistry of IES "Zurbarán" of this city Pedro García Martín. It is appreciated that such initiatives are served by municipal managers.

is a sundial analemático type in which the user becomes the gnomon of the same Just stand in the horizontal panel at ground level at the point closest to the date on which we are to see your shadow standing on any of the items listed in the ellipse time and do a little math to know the exact clock time.

My daughter Lucy could not resist going to gnomon and we found that was the time with total accuracy. A pillar with a metal panel explains perfectly the instructions for use. A hit, no doubt, is of this type because it supports best possible acts of urban vandalism, that evil is so widespread ...

My congratulations to Professor Pedro Garcia and the Municipality of Badajoz for carrying out this curious and interesting building. Another reason to go to the park Bioclimatic.

Sample Letter Of Doctor Joining Practice

More Than a Two in one key

I still have the holy holiday and enjoying lots of music at home. This time one of the new donated by musician friends such as the first solo work of Braña Aaron Zapico (1978): "Phantasia" . It is curious that the previous post commenting on disc, which does not usually do, were also two of his colleagues in the Department of key of CONSMUPA , but recognize that the educational level but not as emanating Oviedo art is international. In the case of most of the Zapico provided with very clear ideas , has succeeded to the Conservatory the key figure in the educational provision, which is a milestone we should all feel proud, not to mention the Academy of Ancient Music Gijon (AMAG ) that is proving a reference not in the teaching but even in the concert .
Del
work and love for early music of Brothers Zapico is to write at length, years of study, preparation (many outside Spain), research, and strives to consolidate training from Asturias is winning everywhere they go. As a recent "achievements" of Form Antiqva highlight the signing of exclusive contract with the prestigious German label Winter & Winter , their involvement in the Watershed SMR 2010, "The Poppea "in Campoamor (for some critics very remarkable and unforgettable especially ) manage to have headquarters in the Auditorium of Oviedo as a whole resident, and his upcoming performance at the International Festival of Music and Dance where it passes through the Auditorio Manuel de Falla on July 7 (San Fermin) at 22:30 also be taken to CD nothing less than a "reinterpretation" Asturias Stations of Vivaldi with Aaron Zapico own directing from the harpsichord with violinist carbayón Aitor Hevia soloist. The program, which begins with the Sinfonia per archi 111th RV, and advances that "The group will face a challenge in Granada, a new approach to the very famous Vivaldi Four Seasons , who, knowing the history of the old productions, including a standard is a generous and creative improvisational component, will undoubtedly be full of surprises ".
This magnificent solo recording and is a great review of Cosme Marina in LNE entitled "Unstoppable" , because really that is the path of these brothers, with the first captaining a project that does not stop them continuing their work as soloists and disc is proof of that, recorded when "Concerto Zapico" in the Chamber Hall of Girona Auditorium during June 2010 in instrument you use now, a "William Dowd after Mietke, Paris (France)" of 1984, and always carefully prepared presentation of the discs in this with pictures of some Japanese works Yoshiyuki Miura displayed in the headquarters Munich-based record label. Cosme De's writing deserves mention: "Aaron sets out to offer a veritable feast of great music, played with energy, intensity and fantasy expression. This is a key concert becomes an overwhelming feast for the senses by his freshness and imagination ".
The repertoire chosen from previous work very hard but it comes at a time of full maturity (professional and personal), is based on two "key composers" in the first half of XVII: Froberger and Frescobaldi, which always sound new, different, doing wonders of timbre of the instrument capability with a subtle push reels clear melodies and accompaniments never thickeners. Splendid performance in each of the 22 cuts that make the recording, and a catalog and set of dances of the time where I particularly loved the "Hungarian ballet" of Giovanni Picchi, relying on less known but equally important and abundant literature for harpsichord on the fingers of a harpsichordist Asturian that rubs shoulders with the best .
Thanks for these gifts .

Milena Velba Free Picures

take these Easter holidays to stay at home listening to music with more attention than usual, ie, chewing each note, read notes of discs and hardware still claim even if the iPod help. My generation still treasuring (not heaping) books, records, cassette tapes, videos ... perhaps because we need lots of physical contact but the space is getting smaller and our wives 'sufferer' put the fuss with each new acquisition.
In my extensive "cedeteca" begin to elaborate many recordings purchased from the performers in their own concerts but also gifts from the artists themselves, many friends you always learn and with whom I share the joy of these "sons sound, not in vain each album is like a new child to see the light and leave a legacy for the enjoyment of all who come after.
Today I start with the pairing of M ª Teresa Pérez Hernández and Francisco Jaime Pantín , large and laureates concert together and solo , but even better people, Mayte and Paco to its close, whose destinies canary - Asturian had to unite music, and they have also instilled this passion also own, not as teachers of piano in the Conservatory of Oviedo (often key department!) to an extensive list of students who are succeeding in different fields, but also "at home" (his son Daniel is the best test but opted for the violin), which is not always the case.
For issues that do not come to mind, won a grant Canary Islands Government to commit to record Seal the Transit Record "part of the Works for Piano Four Hands of Franz Schubert , keep forever their interpretations unrepeatable as" Duo Wanderer , and besides, once I learned the process, recorded at home, where Steinway piano (Paco is an expert in The Piano Rolls of him and we choice we have in the Auditorium of Oviedo among other ) recovering the authentic environment for which they were created many scores and the line that many music producers want for their new products: a taste for craft, to feel comfortable making music, because current technology allows these wonders away from the always cool studies or concert halls. Marina Cosme
devoted an excellent article in LNE the album, entitled "A quiet rumor" , which perfectly reflects what treasures: " up a thrilling musical discourse that goes straight to the bowels of the romantic piano, or what is, to the fullness of the instrument. The interpretation of the duo is fascinating in its stylistic care, the price to that are present in more lyrical passages, and the ability to transmit the passion for music of ravishing beauty and perhaps because of that, with the melancholy dregs of a long lost and almost forgotten. The depth of expression of each version rounds this disc near where the good music sends itself a great show without letting the music flow with the exquisite nobility " . The works have been chosen Variations on a Theme Original D. 813, the Fantasy in F D. 940 m. the Allegro in La m. D. 947 "Lebensstürme" and Rondo in the m., D. 951.
But for those of my generation, if the sound is astonishing, discovering sounds really unique four-hands, close, able to perceive each and every one of the melodies that weave (Paco on bass , Mayte in the treble), the writing that accompanies the CD is as one would expect, a real class Professor Pantin entitled "The Piano Four Hands in the music of Franz Schubert " , required reading, written by a professional with ideas always clear to all students music and audition perfect complement to these carefully selected works.
I culled some of the phrases and no analysis of the four works selected for the comments but they are very indicative of the recording: how to prepare authentic listening writes: "The relationship of intimacy, cohesion and complicity that exists between two pianists who share the same keyboard is the nearest direct and intimate chamber music throughout the universe " . Not be conceived from a technology that recorded every one separately and then mixed (although all are in the pharmacy label.) It is best when says "is the only formation in which even physical contact is inevitable and perhaps needs a complicity that exists between performers beyond the musical" , real answer to my question about the unit having all works in terms of interpretation (the D 947 Allegro really wasted heat and passion), complicity beyond the music but with music as the beginning and end ( Rondo D 951 can only reach the serenity, elegance and lyricism from life, a common profession of marriage Wanderer ). There fraternal duos like the Labeque sisters who can corroborate that link necessary to address this Schubert, even as father and son Artur and Karl Ulrich Schnabel or Emil and Elena Gilels , his daughter.
Good music has always been partners, and "unmarried partners" many, if not some amazing mythical as Jacqueline Du Pré and Daniel Barenboim , where personal relationships transcend their interpretations, as indeed is logical. The "chemistry" is always necessary, and when there are lots of art and "posed" two top performers dialogue monologue is gratifyingly unifying ( Nelson Freire and Martha Argerich ). In chamber music even more, precisely because of its proximity, reminding Pantín that "the act of playing with four hands meant a mode of exchange, a metaphor of" amicitia " a true symbol of fraternal union in the same universe Affective . The Fantasy D 940 is itself throughout the universe, unique work and "new reference to the road as a metaphor for life" . In the case of "Duo Wanderer all recorded here is The Life of Schubert breathing real love, and the disc is full of it.
Mayte and Paco Thanks for sharing.
